My Hair Loss Story

My hair loss started young — around 17 — and by 18 I was already using every treatment I could find. When I left home to study design at Ringling School of Art and Design, money was tight and the medications had to go. I chose food over products, and within months my hair loss accelerated.

Eventually, I shaved my head to reclaim some control. Years later, as a practicing tattoo artist, I discovered scalp micropigmentation. I explored every option I could, and none of them gave me what I needed - until I found SMP.

It felt like the answer I had been searching for. I flew to NYC to train under Scalp Micro USA founder Matt Iulo, and seeing the results up close changed everything for me.

I received SMP myself soon after, and it restored a sense of confidence I hadn’t felt in years. That was five years ago, and I’ve been doing SMP ever since - helping people who feel exactly like I once did. People who want to see themselves again. People who just want to feel whole.

And honestly? That’s the best part of my job - getting to give someone the same relief and confidence I was given.
